Loved the food, I got the Carolina pulled pork very tender and I also got fries and coleslaw, the fries were extremely crispy nice amount of salt , coleslaw was extremely fresh, the sauces sweet , gold and smoking hot was amazing my two favorites was smoking hot and sweet and to finish my meal I got a brownie and ice cream it was really good did I say you can buy there sauces too to take home , as for the atmosphere it was amazing it was like a country style bbq.
Great BBQ restaurant here in Wauchula. Not only was the food extremely well cooked and served, they provide some good country music to add to the ambience. Always love a hometown restaurant that gives veterans discounts for those who served. We'll be coming back! Thank you! Excellent food, great service, and friendly people sum up our experience. Super tender baby back ribs and some of the best pulled pork we've ever had anywhere. Ashly was attentive to everything we needed despite handling multiple tables by herself, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first (but not our last!) visit.
This restaurant has become a local hometown favorite. The food is very good. My parents love the senior meal options. The restaurant offers daily specials and fun activities. For example, Tuesday night - is all you can eat BBQ with two sides and Texas toast. Then following your dinner at 6:30 they offer 5 free games of Bingo with prizes for 3 winners of each game. Prizes very from 10-20% your next meal to T-shirts, hats, and other fun memorabilia. Jason and Tamara are very hospitable and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We highly recommend this restaurant if you live or are ever passing through Wauchula.
We had a fantastic experience at Woody’s BBQ! We started with the corn nuggets as an appetizer—fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken, pulled pork, and bar ribs were all delicious—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Despite the restaurant being busy during dinner time, the service was efficient, and our food came out surprisingly fast. We loved the meal so much that we even bought some of their barbecue sauce to take home! For those on the go, they also have a drive-thru for added convenience. They offer cream pies and banana pudding for dessert, but we were too full to try them this time.

The service was excellent: Gabby was attentive but not bothersome. Other waitresses complimented her service. They have a wider variety of healthy options than you'd expect at a BBQ restaurant, making the restaurant a good choice for all. My husband liked his BBQ Mesquite Chicken sandwich. I enjoyed the classic Woodys salad with ample Texas briquettes on top.
Down home southern BBQ..I love Southern BBQ..see my past reviews of other great BBQ places. Enjoyed everything I had so did my Wife. I definitely wanna come back and try everything on the menu. The coleslaw and beans was awesome and the meat just fell off the ribs.
